Subject: Distribution of Modernized e-File (MeF) New Web Service Definition Language (WSDLs)

WSDLs for Tax Year 2024 / Processing Year 2025 are now available.

The new WSDLs are scheduled to be installed in the MeF Assurance Testing System (ATS) environment in early Fall of 2024. They will be required for MeF Production for Processing Year 2025.

Please use "la.alt" URL (la.alt.www4) for the ATS environment, and "la" main URL (la.www4) for the Production environment.

The new WSDLs are available in the e-Services Secure Object Repository (SOR) mailbox located here. To access the WSDLs, the following is needed:

• Active e-Services account
• Listed on an e-File application with the provider option of Software Developer or State
Software Developers must have at least one associated tax type of 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120x, 1120-POL, 2350, 4720, 4868, 5227, 5330, 56, 7004, 720, 8849, 8868, 9465, 94X, 990X, 990-N, 990-T.

You may have several messages in your account. Please open all of them to find the set you would like to download. After 60 days the messages are purged. If you have the appropriate role and do not have the WSDLs available for download within 48 hours, please contact the MeF Mailbox with the Company Name and ETIN.
