Subject:  AIR Production Shutdown/Cutover Attention: AIR Participants - Transmitters, Software Developers, and Issuers The following Production Shutdown/Cutover Schedule has been established for the ACA Information Returns electronically filed through the Affordable Care Act Information Returns (AIR) System: Shutdown for all transmissions, including corrections and replacements, will begin on Friday, December 20, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, in order to prepare the system for the upcoming Filing Season 2020. Start-up for AIR Production for Filing Season 2020 will begin on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Note: AIR Assurance Testing System (AATS) will remain open throughout the Production shutdown/cutover period with the exception that AATS will be unavailable during the following routine maintenance windows:   Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time until 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and Sunday, December 29, 2019, from 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time until 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
