Always log in from the System's webpage You are using the same email for the System and Login.gov or ID.me You have a compatible internet browser and required browser configurations (See Publication 5118, Section 2.1) You have the correct System webpage address (if previously saved):  https://www.irs.gov/businesses/corporations/fatca-foreign-financial-institution-registration-system You have reviewed your system security settings that may prevent secure System access  Complete steps to log into the System:  Go to the System webpage Select "Register or login" under "Use the System now" Sign into the System with an existing Login.gov or ID.me account (use same email used with FATCA registration account), or Create a new Login.gov or ID.me account (use same email used with FATCA registration account) Select Next to confirm the email used to log in is the correct email  Enter the FATCA ID and select Retrieve  For more information on the FATCA Registration System and login process, refer to Publication 5118, FATCA Online Registration User Guide.
