IRS hiring more than 5,000 positions in Austin, Kansas City, Ogden To help serve taxpayers during this challenging tax season, the IRS is hiring more than 5,000 positions in its service processing centers located in Austin, Texas; Kansas City, Missouri; and Ogden, Utah. The agency is hosting both virtual and in-person hiring events. 4. Interest rates increase for the second quarter of 2022 The IRS announced that interest rates will increase for the calendar quarter beginning April 1, 2022. 5.
