e-News for Clean Vehicle Industry Aug. 20, 2026 New URL for the Energy Credits Online portal; Time of sale reporting deadline The URL for accessing your entity's clean energy account and the Energy Credits Online (ECO) portal has changed. To avoid interruptions in access, please update your browser favorites or bookmarks with the new URL: New URL: https://sa.www4.irs.gov/tpip/clean_energy/ If you have trouble accessing the portal, email irs.clean.vehicles.dealer.info@irs.gov. Time of sale reporting through the ECO portal ends Oct. 31 October 31, 2026, is the last day to submit time of sale reports through the Energy Credits Online (ECO) portal. Beginning November 1, 2026, the ECO portal will no longer accept time of sale reports, including late submissions. If you have outstanding reports, submit them as soon as possible to help ensure your customers can claim their tax credits without delays or processing issues. When submitting reports, upload all required supporting documentation through the ECO portal to help speed up review and processing. If you experience issues submitting a time of sale report before the deadline, contact us through Secure Messaging.
