| Important Reminder: Submission of 2025 Edits, Returns or Cancellation Requests Ends March 31 As previously communicated, effective April 1, 2026, you will no longer be able to submit edits, returns or cancellation requests for calendar year 2025 sales through the Energy Credits Online (ECO) portal. If you experience issues submitting an edit, return or cancellation, please contact us using Secure Messaging. For instructions on using Secure Messaging, please see Publication 6025, Secure Messaging: Contact the IRS through Secure Messaging User Guide. Additionally, effective June 1, 2026, you will no longer be able to submit late time-of-sale reports for calendar year 2025 sales through the ECO portal. Act now to submit all time-of-sale reports, returns, and cancellations. Prompt and accurate reporting is essential to prevent delays, errors, or denied credits when your customers file their tax returns. You can upload documents through the ECO portal when submitting time of sale reports, edits, returns and cancellations, to help prevent processing delays.
