Inside This Issue Important Update for e-Services Users   1.  Important Update for e-Services Users One of the highest priorities at the IRS is to protect taxpayer and tax preparer data as well as our systems. Starting in October, the IRS will strengthen the protection for e-services. As part of that effort, all users must re-register and validate their identities, most using the Secure Access authentication process.
